The Haydn scale
In this video you’re introduced to the Haydn Scale – a tool that’s used by teaching staff to help them identify, and reflect on the factors that influence classroom climate and teacher authority. This can then inform and help staff develop a better working atmosphere for successful learning.
Watch the video and consider the following questions ready to discuss:
- What do you notice?
- What changes are occurring in the working atmosphere?
- What impact do you think the changes have on the class and individuals learning?
In the next Step, Helen will break down each point shown in the video.
