By the end of Week 1 you will have an increased:

  1. knowledge about, and the intention to use, information websites about antibiotic prescribing and resistance.

  2. knowledge, ability, and interest to use data to explore your own antibiotic prescribing behaviour.

  3. understanding of the value of Read / SnoMed codes for symptoms and infections to facilitate antibiotic based audits in a clinical setting.

  4. intention to undertake an infection or antibiotic based audit in a clinical setting.

  5. ability to use data to discuss antibiotic prescribing with colleagues and improve the practice approach to management of infections.

  6. understanding of the importance of antibiotic guidance to help develop a more consistent practice approach to diagnosis and management of infections.
