This week Professor Michael Moore who is Professor of Primary Health Care Research at the University of Southampton will look at antimicrobial stewardship with a particular focus on acute sore throat.
Michael has more than 25 years’ experience as a partner in a Salisbury practice, undertaking infection related research since 1993. His research interests include the optimal management of acute minor illness with a focus on antibiotic sparing strategies. He was the RCGP Antimicrobial Stewardship and TARGET antibiotics Clinical Champion 2012-15.
