Everyone has a responsibility in helping to tackle the public health threat of AMR. Primary care professionals and establishments should work collaboratively towards a local, system-wide approach to share consistent messages with the general public on antimicrobial stewardship.

This TARGET antibiotics course aims to provide primary care prescribers with evidence based advice to implement antimicrobial stewardship locally and collaboratively including: how they can measure and compare their antimicrobial prescribing rates to others, providing antimicrobial resources (leaflets, audits), sharing advice on self-care and using back-up prescriptions.
