Reflect on your learning

Take a look at your reflection grid for this week.

This week Beverley and Alex have helped you explore teaching strategies for addressing misconceptions in plant respiration. You’ve seen examples of practical investigations to help your students use plants to tackle their misconceptions about respiration. You’ve considered how good questions can help you to assess whether your students have overcome their misconceptions. You’ve also shared ideas for teaching and learning resources that can address misconceptions in biology.

Fill in this week’s reflection grid now if you haven’t already done so. If you have any outstanding questions from this week, post them to step 3.13 and we will address them in the end of course Q&A.
