Lesson planning task: making connections
The lesson plan you started in week 1 will now have a relevant context to engage your students and a well planned question to draw out students misconceptions.
This week we’d like you to add a brief activity to your lesson plan which will enable students to link the new knowledge in the lesson to what they have learned in other topics in biology. This could be a quick plenary, or as simple as small group discussion and feeding back one link each to the class.
For inspiration, you could look back to step 3.4 where you shared your favourite strategies for helping students make connections.
