Descriptive language and sound effects

This step contains four images to be used as a stimulus for creative writing, using sound to describe what we can see.

Using images as inspiration provides a great stimulus for creative writing, and analysing sound provides a rich experience to draw upon when completing further written work.

Take a look at the four images below. Each picture portrays one of the great forces of nature. For each, identify at least one descriptive adjective to describe the image. Each adjective should be translatable into sound eg the crunching snow, or the crackling fire etc.
