Reflect
This week Gill and Karen have helped you explore the role of learning outcomes for practical work. You’ve seen example demonstrations and practicals for the topic of enzymes and looked at three different categories of learning objectives. You’ve considered how a practical activity might be adapted or presented differently in order to allow students to achieve what we want them to. Using Millar’s Practical Activity Analysis Inventory you have assessed the effectiveness of a practical activity, and considered whether this might be a useful tool.Fill in this week’s reflection grid now if you haven’t already done so. If you have any outstanding questions from this week, post them to step 3.12 and we will address them in the end of course Q&A.
