Planning a unit of work

In this step we would like you to have a go at planning a unit of work for your children.

If you don’t yet have a class, choose an age group of children that you would like to work with. Think about an upcoming unit of work and think about what types of enquiry you would like to complete.

Check the curriculum for your objectives and look at what has come before and what will come after.

Have a go at planning your unit. We’ve provided an example of planning a unit to help you get started. Use the discussion below to reflect on your plan.

Were there any areas that you found it tricky to incorporate enquiry into the lessons?
