The Genomics Era forms part of the Genomics in Healthcare program, along with the two postgraduate level courses Genomic Technologies in Clinical Diagnostics: Molecular Techniques and Genomic Technologies in Clinical Diagnostics: Next Generation Sequencing.

The program allows learners to explore higher-level material relating to genomic data in more depth. For those that wish to develop their studies further, these postgraduate courses will provide you with the teaching component of module 1 of the Postgraduate Certificate in the Interpretation and Clinical Application of Genomic Data (PGCert ICAG) from St George’s, University of London.

You will learn how recent technological advances have transformed how genetic data is generated, analysed and presented and its relevance to a range of clinical scenarios.

This is a flexible programme, structured to provide options for a Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma awards as well as the MSc or if you prefer, bitesize modular study. Our lead educators, Dr Kate Tatton-Brown and Dr Katie Snape, will also be teaching on this course.
