(Themodynamic) status- 3 status
- There are three thermodynamic status: unstable, stable and metastable.
- Unstable status will spontaneously change into stable or metastable status.
- Stable status is in energy minimum or equilibrium state, and will not change its status
- Metastable state is not the lowest energy, but does not change status easily. The metastable status needs stimulus, or energy to change its status.
