Heat pump vs resistive heating

Heat pump

Heat pump vs resistive heating Which one is efficient?

In the resistive heating, W = RI2 = Q when there is no loss.
The maximum efficiency of resistive heating is thus 1.

Heat pump is much better than electrical heating.
It is much more efficient. The efficiency is usually
higher than 1. In the example in week 3, the heat
pump operating between -20℃ and 30℃ was 6.06.

However,compressor is expensive.
