Our membership includes corporate organisations who develop and supply equipment, products and drugs, to support promotion of continence and effective management of incontinence.

The main purpose of the ACA is to provide education and support to professionals working to promote continence and effectively manage bladder and bowel health.

It does this by:

  • Developing and delivering educational courses, such as this MOOC
  • Providing an annual two day conference
  • National and local educational events
  • Networking and peer support opportunities
  • Newsletter and website

As an organisation the ACA is committed to attaining and maintaining the highest professional standards of bladder and bowel healthcare and the provision of evidence-informed, safe, high quality continence services.

ACA also seeks to influence UK-wide clinical, professional and political policy and shape developments in the field of bladder and bowel health and care policies.

The ACA, through its strong multi-professional membership, its local branches, national and regional study days and website will be an asset to you, whether you are a specialist continence advisor or you simply have an interest in continence and delivering best practice.

We welcome new members at any time, from any discipline or background.
