The Understanding IELTS Blab

Announcing the Blab

On Thursday 15 October we’ll hold a live Blab to answer your questions about anything we’ve looked at in the course. If you’re not familiar with Blabs, they are live streaming internet broadcasts. You’ll be able to watch the educators answering your questions and, if you’ve got a twitter account, ask questions live during the Blab.

When: Thursday 15 October
What time: 13:30 UK time (find out your local time here: local time
Where: Blab event page

Several of the educators will be answering your questions about IELTS in a live Blab. If you have any questions you want to ask about anything you’ve seen in the Understanding IELTS course you can:

  • ask them live during the Blab (you need a Twitter account to do this)
  • leave them in the comments below
  • use the course hashtag #FLTeachEnglishChat on Twitter

What happens if I can’t watch the live Blab?
Don’t worry! You can watch a recording of the discussion after the live event finishes. You can still make a contribution by leaving your question or comments on this step in advance, and we may include some of these in the discussion.

Will loading the Blab mean I appear on camera?
No, you will just watch the live stream like any other video (though Twitter users can submit comments via the interface and it is possible for the educators to invite a twitter user into the call).

Is a twitter account required to view the Blab?
No, you can watch the Blab without logging in to Twitter. If you wish to submit comments, please use the comments below.
