Video review of Week 2
This week Alister, our lead educator, looks back at some interesting talking points from this week.
Alister starts by telling a joke from Maria Raevskaya, which makes a serious point as well as being very funny.
To help with speaking, he recommends recording yourself using the online tool, Vocaroo, on step 2.19 and mentions a conversation between Maria Burguette and Queen Moon, plus recordings from Sa Za and Georg. Why don’t you check out these recordings and then post your own recording as a reply?
Alister talks about the discussion started by Sarah Gamal and Nadiia Krutenchuck on discourse markers and mentions Freddie’s tips for the Speaking test on step 2.5. He stresses how useful it is to follow the educators so that you can find their comments easily. You can find links to the educator’s profiles here. He also mentions the Facebook Clinic and you can find a PDF transcript of it here.
He finishes with a reminder about the new one to one coaching service for extra help with the Speaking and Writing tests.
