Course Outline and Requirements

Course outline

This course is divided into five weeks that contain:

Videos: These lessons provide the core content of the course.

Practice quizzes: These are provided each week to give you experience solving the types of problems you will see on the graded quizzes

Graded tests: At the end of each module, you will take a 10-question graded test. We partnered with Marketing by the Numbers (MBTN), which offers online tutorials and problem sets, in the design of some of the tests.

Resources: At the start of each week, we provide related resources (slides, book chapters, etc.) in the “Downloads” section.

Peer-reviewed assignment: An opportunity for you to apply what you’ve learned is provided in the peer-reviewed project in week 4 of the course.

Time commitment

1-2 hours to complete each module’s lessons, readings, and quiz 2-4 hours to complete the peer-reviewed assignment

Cutting Edge Marketing Analytics

As a co-author of Cutting Edge Marketing Analytics (available for purchase as a hard copy or e-book from Amazon), a practical guide to modern marketing analytics, I’m excited to share a sample chapter in the first week of this course. The book is the result of years of research and real-world experience by me and my esteemed colleagues, Paul Farris and Ronald Wilcox. This book is not required for successful completion of the course, but it is a great resource for learners who want a deeper understanding of the topics.
