Google Hangout 2 will also take place on Friday 31st July but it will run from 16.00 to 16.30 BST.

We will end the first hangout (Google Hangout 1), take a short break then open Google Hangout 2: Information on further study at Strathclyde.

This hangout is optional and may be of interest to anyone interested in the University of Strathclyde’s Master’s programme, MSc in Child and Youth Care Studies by Distance Learning. You can also register your interest here.

Google Hangout 2 will streamed live on YouTube and on Google+ Hangout. If you can’t make the live event you can watch the recording on YouTube at a time that suits you.

Graham McPheat and John Paul Fitzpatrick will discuss the course curriculum, entry requirements, fees and available discounts. If you’re a fully participating learner in Caring for Vulnerable Children, you’ll be eligible for a 10% discount on the MSc fees.

To be eligible for this course you require a first degree or relevant professional qualification, or a combination of qualifications and experience demonstrating capacity for postgraduate study. You’ll also require sufficient access to child care settings through which you can evidence programme and practice requirements. However, these requirements are broad enough to allow those in external management, supervisory and training positions to do so.

You are invited to leave questions on this step in advance. Graham and Laura will answer your questions during the hangout.
