Next week: Consciousness

What’s next

This week has focused on subjectivity, but a mind is more than a subject, it also feels like something to be a mind. This is conscious feeling or consciousness and is the second defining feature of a mind that we consider in Week 3. As we will discover, the mind is not straightforwardly synonymous with consciousness, sentience, and feeling.

Now you’ve reached the end of Week 2, you might like to check your progress. You can also do this by selecting the Progress tab at the top of the step.
