Moving beyond survival to include child development

We must extend our aims beyond simply reducing mortality and give the increasing numbers of children surviving an opportunity to thrive as well.

In the video, Dr Marko Kerac indicates that to do this we must focus on issues such as malnutrition, as there is now evidence to support that some adult health conditions are a consequence of a poor or inadequate diet at the start of life.
