Video Review of Week 3

This week Sally and Tina, two of your educators, recorded a video and chatted about some of the interesting talking points from this week.

They started off by talking about their favourite things so far in the course, from the Facebook Lives to the fantastic global audience with learners still joining on Week 1. They chatted about their first jobs and mentioned that many of you were nervous on your first day, so here are a couple of useful links to help you settle into a new job and also on how to start up conversations with new colleagues.

Find a great explanation about hand in your notice from Evelyn which was a phrase mentioned in our vocabulary article on Step 3.3 that some of you had problems understanding. And here’s a useful article to read in case you ever need to hand in your notice.

Sally talked about the business acronyms - did you spot Tina’s mistake about which step it was on? Here’s the link to Vijendra’s comment on acronyms that Sally mentioned and Sally’s favourite one - OOO.

They reminded you to watch the Facebook Live from earlier in the week and then talked about rules and regulations in the office. Read and join in this great conversation between some of your fellow learners.

They finished up by reminding you to join the final Facebook Live on Friday next week so do leave your questions for us on Step 4.2.
