Try to solve this word problem using the Bar Model method.

In the same way as before, you might feel you can complete the task immediately, but it’s worth using bars. This will help later on with more complex tasks.

The task is:

A pile of 8 similar books is 56 cm high. Find the height of 6 such books.

Hint: you could start by making one bar of 56 cm and divide it in 8 equal parts.
