    Develop your collaborative practice on creative projects

    Delve into sustainable art

    You’ll learn to locate your practice within professional contemporary global art, allowing you to establish a departure point for an independent practice-based research project. 

    Next, you’ll understand sustainable strategies to expand your ability to create innovative, sustainable art practices. You’ll develop strategies that align with production and dissemination with creativity and ecological sensitivity. 

    Develop your portfolio of creative work

    Finally, you’ll conclude your studies with a final project. This capstone provides you with the opportunity to realise a unique practice-based research initiative crafted to operate within specific critical and professional contexts. 

    By the end, you’ll have a body of work that culminates in a pioneering public-facing project, wherever you are in the world.

    How will you be assessed?

    You’ll complete four 30-credit modules and one 60-credit final project (180 credits in total) on this fine art degree. All modules are compulsory and must be passed to complete the award.

    Is this a part-time or full-time degree?

    This is a part-time degree designed for flexibility. You’re encouraged to dedicate 20-25 hours of learning per week over 120 weeks, spanning two years.

    Higher education requirements:

    To be eligible for this master’s you should have an honours degree or Level 6 qualification. However, those without a degree or formal qualification are still encouraged to apply.

    Language requirements:

    If English isn’t your first language, you’ll need an IELTS Academic 6.5 overall score, with at least 5.5 in reading, writing, and listening, and a minimum of 6.0 in speaking. Other recognised English language qualifications will also be accepted.

    Portfolio requirements:

    When applying, you’ll need to provide a portfolio of your most recent work, showcasing at least 10-15 images, films, or audio artworks. All pieces should be captioned with a title, material, size, duration, and date.

    You’ll also provide a 300-500 word portfolio statement that outlines the ideas and intentions of your practices.

    The total tuition fee is £12,150.
