    Entry requirements

    Qualifications: An honours degree or Level 6 equivalent qualification is desirable, yet not mandatory. The course encourages applicants without formal qualifications to discuss their entry prospects with an advisor.

    Portfolio Submission: Applicants must provide a digital portfolio showcasing their current photographic practice. This should highlight technical skills, the quality of work, and artistic direction, focusing on specific specialisms rather than a broad range of styles. Each image should include a title or brief caption to express its relevance to the applicant's practice.

    International Students: Non-native English speakers need to demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 overall, with minimum scores of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, and Listening, and 6.0 in Speaking. Alternatively, other recognised qualifications are accepted.
