The general requirements for admissions are in line with Coventry University Group policy (Academic Regulations: Regulations for the Admission of Students Chapter 2.3), and are also available on the individual course websites.
Students whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the English language equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
Coventry University Group will also review applicants with non-standard entry requirements including those with professional work experience and direct entry applicants. Accredited prior learning and accredited prior experiential learning (AP(E)L) may be taken into consideration and mapped onto the entry criteria for the course. AP(E)L is in accordance with Coventry University Group Academic Regulations (see Academic Regulations: Regulations for the Admission of Students Chapter 2.2).
This course conforms to the standard Coventry University Group Academic Regulations Mode F.
How can I study this course?
This course is 100% online, and can be studied either full or part-time.
The full-time route takes 3 years to complete, or part-time 3 to 5 years, both consisting of 30 credits per program.
How much will it cost?
This course has a UK/EU fee and an international fee. The Admissions Team will carry out a fee assessment where appropriate, to determine which fee is applicable.
UK/EU students – £9,250 (per year)
The tuition fee for the course that is stated on the course webpage and in the prospectus for the first year of study will apply. We will review our tuition fees each year. For UK and EU students, if Parliament permit an increase in tuition fees, we may increase fees for each subsequent year of study in line with any such changes. Note that any increase is expected to be in line with inflation.
Following the UK’s exit from the European Union, EU students should be aware that there may be a change to UK laws following the UK’s exit, this may change their student status, their eligibility to study part time, and/or their eligibility for student finance. We will act in accordance with the UK’s laws in force in relation to student tuition fees and finance from time to time.
International students – £13,900 (per year)
Learners who enrol part-time and are self-funding or being funded by a sponsor, have the ability to pay-per-credit, which enables them to pay for only the modules being studied in that particular semester. Payment options include bank transfer, Western Union and all major credit/debit cards.

For international students, we may increase fees for each subsequent year of study but such increases will be no more than 5% above inflation.

Learners who are full-time and have confirmation they are in receipt of an UG Loan from SLC, enrol on the entire course, with the fees being paid directly to the institution.
A student who successfully completes the course will have achieved the following course learning outcomes:
Role of Organisations – students will demonstrate their understanding of how organisations serve the needs and requirements of a variety of different stakeholders and the development and delivery of organisational strategy/tactics/operations regardless of business context.
Communication – students will demonstrate practical skills required in organisational communications with a range of diverse stakeholders across a wide variety of organisational types/settings (Private sector; Public sector; Voluntary; Not for Profit). This will support their ability to liaise effectively with the various departments within the business environment.
Innovation and Creativity – students will be equipped with the confidence to be innovative in their thinking, in order to be able to fully contribute to the development of business approaches; they will learn to recognise that management and leadership are dynamic entities that are more of an art rather than a science and how their personal skills contribute and make positive impacts on performance results across all areas of business activity. (QAA 3.9)
Entrepreneurship – providing students with the understanding of the skills and attributes required to develop both entrepreneurial and ‘intrapreneurial’ ideas in a variety of management and leadership settings, which affords them opportunities to contribute effectively in business environments. Students should be able to work collaboratively with a people from a range of cultures; they should be able to articulate effectively and build relationships using emotional intelligences and empathy.
Management – students should have the skills to analyse and evaluate a range of managerial tools and techniques to deliver organisational outcomes, people development and strengthening the core activity of the organisation itself. A significant change in the business environment has been to drive up productivity, of product output and performance of its people. Students will show understanding of leadership, management and development of people and organisations including the implications of the legal context; looking at behaviours, design and development of organisations, including cross-cultural issues, change, diversity and values.
Leadership – students develop skills such as communication for impact, team building, leadership competencies and motivating a range of staff to set and achieve objectives. They will study approaches to be effective leaders and graduates with an in-depth knowledge of their own behaviours and how they affect others. This all derives from the study of self-reflection: self-analysis and an awareness/sensitivity to diversity in terms of people and cultures.
Research – students analyse and evaluate a range of management data (primary and secondary), information and potentially management knowledge that aids reliable and consistent decision-making. This includes the need for strong digital literacy, and to use that research for evidence-based decision-making.
Internationalisation – students will be equipped with relevant knowledge of these areas to be able to effectively operate within the global business environment. They will demonstrate knowledge on global issues, ensuring they have developed attributes and capabilities to become global professionals/citizens and successfully enter the international work environment.
