Using Excel with Power BI

In the previous activity, you covered data visualisation in Excel. Another powerful tool offered by Microsoft is Power BI, which Dany covers in the video.

If you haven’t already taken the ExpertTrack course Analyzing Data with Microsoft Power BI, it goes into much more detail about Power BI. Check it out if you’d like to learn more.

When you’re ready, try the quiz to test your knowledge of Power BI. After that, you’ll be introduced to Power BI on other devices such as your mobile phone.

Lecture Files

The file used in the lecture is provided here: “Multitable model.xlsx“. If you are using Excel 2010, use this file instead: “Multitable model-2010.xlsx“.

The data has been loaded to the Excel data model. You don’t need to refresh or edit the Query.
