Preserving human life and how it relates to SDGs

Provide summary of the SDGs covered this week through the theme of preserving human life.

This week considers how digital technologies can help eliminate hunger and improve water quality across the world so everyone has access to nutritious food and clean water, contributing to boosted life expectancy and radically reduced child mortality.

We will look at the following SDGs:

Sustainable Development Goal icon for SDG2 Goal 2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
Sustainable Development Goal icon for SDG3 Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
Sustainable Development Goal icon for SDG6 Goal 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all

The case studies you dive into this week include how agricultural production can be transformed through a digital marketplace, how smart meters can increase the efficiency of water use, as well as how Health Information Systems can be built and streamlined in poorer countries through cooperation between countries.
