Improving your English skills
- Attend language classes. Lots of community centres and Further Education (FE) colleges offer English language classes. Some of them are free and some of them you will have to pay for. Search the internet for ESOL & the name of your local area, e.g. ESOL Birmingham. This will give you more information about classes available to you. Share any useful classes with the other people on this course.
- There are lots of free online resources for learning English. These websites may be helpful for you:
- Language exchanges. There are probably people in the UK who want to learn your language. You can do an exchange – you teach them your language, and they teach you English. Do an internet search for language exchanges in your area.
