End of course summary

In this video we outline what you have learnt during this course

So here we are, at the end of the final week! It really has been quite the journey. We hope you have enjoyed learning about climate change and carbon reduction in the built environment.

Lets recap what we have explored through the course…

In Week one, Context, you begin your learning journey by exploring why carbon and other greenhouse gases play a central role in climate change, and the role the built environment plays in either exacerbating or mitigating this issue.

In Week 2, Concepts, you explored key concepts relating to carbon and climate change such as net zero and whole life carbon

In Week 3, Cases, you delved into a variety of case studies and were given the opportunity to develop and share one of your own.

And finally, in Week 4, Change, is where we have turned to changemaking. We investigated the unique roles that different stakeholders (including you!) can play in making our built environment lower carbon.

Thank you for you participation in this course – we’ve really valued hearing your throughs. In the next couple of steps you’ll find loads of amazing resources – do check out our other learning materials and UKGBC.org. We’d also really value your feedback on this course – please take a few a few moments to complete the feedback form at the end.

With your influence map in hand, we hope you’re ready to join us as we together strive for net zero in the built environment.
