What is research ethics?

Research ethics moral principles that govern a person’s (researcher) behaviour when conducting research.

In our understanding, behaviors that are legal and socially acceptable are considered ethical behaviors, while behaviors that are illegal and not accepted are seen as unethical behaviors. However, there are many instances in daily life where behaviors that are legal are still considered unethical. Therefore, this is also something that must be taken into consideration when conducting research.
