The client orientation screening process is broken into steps to ensure all relevant information is collected and a comfortable environment is created for the client.

⚠️Before collecting any personal client information you must be aware of your requirements under the law to store the information securely and maintain your clients right to privacy. You may be liable for very large fines if you share or store data irresponsibly. We encourage you to review General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the local law in your jurisdiction⚠️

2. Adult Pre-Screening System (APSS) –we’ll cover this in the next step

Identifying health concerns, contraindication activities and if medical appointment/ referral is necessary.

3. Health and fitness testing

Decide on the most appropriate test for the client.

4. SMART goal system

Essential to client adherence.

5. Prescription of an exercise program

6. Reassessment
