Levers for reducing emissions

Watch a video that introduces high-level levers for reducing climate risks and discuss which polluting activities could be avoided in your context.

We’ve seen that the only reliable way to avert climate breakdown is to rapidly reduce emissions.

In this video, climate researcher and course author Dr Jefim Vogel explores what societies can do to achieve such rapid emission reductions and introduces a powerful framework for exploring the full range of emission reduction measures. We will be using this framework throughout the rest of Week 2, applying it to different sectors, so watch carefully.
