Welcome to the Dynamics 365: Testing and Deploying Power Platform Applications course. In this course, we’ll be covering some of the essential information needed to get your Power Platform project tested and deployed.

This course applies to projects built using custom apps or Common Data Services (CDS) as well as any of the pre-built Dynamics 365 apps that run on the power platform.

By the end of this course, you should be able to enable and update first-party apps, as well as install third-party applications. You’ll also learn how to create, manage and deploy solutions and design test plans and perform performance tuning.

What Topics Will You Cover?

Manage Instances and Applications – here you’ll learn how to enable and update first-party applications, install third-party apps and configure using admin portals.

Manage Solutions – in this activity, you’ll learn how to create manage and deploy solutions

Additional Deployment Considerations – now, you’ll learn how to configure for mobile and deploy components such as Microsoft Flow.

Documentation and Testing – in this topic, you’ll learn how to design test plans and perform performance tuning. After completing this activity, you’ll be able to create and use test plans and locate performance tuning tools.

Course Schedule

This course is set up in a self-paced format. You can listen to lectures, review the additional reading materials (links) and attempt the quizzes at your own pace. You can also work on the practice lab exercises at any time. You should aim to complete this course in 10 hours or 5 hours a week for 2 weeks.

Course Prerequisites

You should be familiar with business applications and the desire to customize and implement them for your business.
