Welcome to Week 4

In the last week of this course, we cover interaction, models and textures. It's also time to finish up and share your VR experience

We are in the final stretch. Here’s a sneak peek into what lies ahead this week.

Recap of Week 3
In the previous week, we discussed the importance of motion and ways to make objects move in VR experiences. We looked at the animation implementation in AFrame. We hope you completed the exercises to consolidate the concepts introduced.

Week 4 Objectives
The first objective of this week is to cover interactiive behaviour in virtual worlds. We will look at the importance of interaction in virtual worlds. We will look at examples of interaction techniques used in VR. Finally, we will look at how interactive behaviour can be implemented in AFrame.

The second objective of this week is to understand how to use textures and models to populate your virtual worlds. These help you build experiences with more details than what’s possible with primitives only.

The third objective requires a collaborative conversation between you and your peer learners. We would like you to complete your VR experience, share it, look at creations shared by others and seek ways to improve your VR experience.

We close this week and the course with a few suggestions about the potential pathways leading beyond this course. So let’s get started.
