Designing for a Sustainable Future

Learn more about designing for a sustainable future.

The theme of this course on sustainability, co-designed during several workshops and conversations with 16-25 year-olds, is ‘Designing for a Sustainable Future’.

Respecting people and the planet is at the heart of our business. We are constantly working to find ways to minimise our impact on the environment and make a positive contribution to society, while creating products that drive meaningful change in people’s lives.

We build environmental sustainability into everything we do, throughout the entire lifecycle of every Samsung product – from design and packaging to consumption and recycling.

Solve for Tomorrow is a global programme that forms part of Samsung’s commitment to education. The programme here in the UK includes online learning and mentorship in addition to an annual competition that challenges young people to explore the role tech can play in solving some of society’s biggest issues. Our aim is to empower future innovators to achieve their full potential and pioneer positive change through exploring key social issues including education, social isolation, diversity & inclusion, and sustainability.
