Once you have thought about your social media marketing strategy you will want to start thinking about how you can go about achieving this. The possibilities of what you could post are endless, but the right tools can save you time, effort and money on social media.

Social media planning tools like Hootsuite or Buffer allow you to plan when and where to publish upcoming content, post across several popular social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and generally map out marketing activities happening across an organisation. You might even consider using a simple workflow or calendar application like Trello, or Google calendar to develop a better view of the content creation process enabling you to plan out your content long term.

Look at the infographic below which shows you the steps you need to take to build out a good content calendar.
