In the village, we meet Laurence Vidal and Thibaut Devièse, Professors at Aix Marseille University. We learn about paleoclimatology and geochronology.

Back in the village, which is close to the pier, we learn about the tools which scientists use to find out about the climate of the past. Here we will meet with Professor Laurence Vidal and Associate Professor Thibaut Devièse from Aix Marseille University.
With Laurance Vidal, we will learn about paleoclimatology.
With Thibaut Devièse, we will learn about geochronology. More specifically, we will focus on:
- Chronology
- Natural archives
- Dating methods
- Human impacts
- Radiocarbon dating
