Hello and welcome to Week 2 of our course: Towards Brexit? The UK’s EU Referendum. I’m Anthony Salamone from the University of Edinburgh. This week is Referendum Week - the vote takes place on Thursday 23 June. This week in the course, we look at the mechanics behind the vote and campaign issues. We’ll also consider public opinion on the EU referendum and alternatives to being in the EU. Remember that you can join us for our Referendum Round-up and Twitter Town Hall later in the week. The course has two events this week where you can put questions on the EU referendum to our experts:
  • Referendum Round-up
    The Round-up will be filmed and made available on Wednesday 22 June.
    Send in your questions by Tuesday evening (UK time) for this event.
  • Twitter Town Hall
    The Town Hall will be a live event on Friday 24 June at 1.15pm (UK time).
    Take part live on Twitter and tweet your questions using the hashtag #EdinEUref.
