A short introductory article to week 5 of experimental design for image analysis - practical tips and tricks
Welcome to Week 5 of the course, the final week.
In this final week we will begin in the first activity by giving some advice on the following topics:
- software and hardware tips – including GPU acceleration
- writing and reading academic papers containing machine learning and deep learning
- engaging with computer science – sharing expertise across disciplines.
We will then wrap up the course overall and provide a link to a short activity which demonstrates a image classifier built using Python Pytorch in Colab.

- Report effectively on findings from machine learning and deep learning models trained on experimental data
