Objectives – Week 1

By the end of this week, we would like you to be able to:

• Introduce yourself by greeting, and saying your name, nationality and occupation;

• Interact with simple questions and answers for name, nationality and occupation;

• Express likes and dislikes for three leisure activities;

• Introduce a friend with ‘this is my friend’;

• Address people by using ‘you, he, she’ etc. and have awareness about formal and informal registers;

• Name 5 to 10 nationalities and say one’s nationality;

• Name 5 to 10 countries and say where one is from;

• Name 5 to 8 occupations and say one’s occupation;

• Interact with a simple question – answer about where you are from: country and city.
