Welcome to Week 2

Introduction to week 2
5.1
Hi, and welcome to Week Two. My name is Leigh Jackson, and I’m the scientific lead at COG-Train. I’m Moses Luutu, and I’m a biomedical scientist at Makerere University in Uganda, Africa. This week, we’ll be focusing more on the data associated with biological samples, also known as metadata. You’ll learn about what data is collected and tools to obtain it and keep it secure. We will also talk about how to make the data richer and how to apply it to mitigate the consequences of the pandemic. Please, use the comment section below for the discussion with other learners and for all the questions that you might have.

Here, Leigh and Moses welcome you for the second week of this course. In this video, they will give you a glimpse of what you will be learning this week.

Post in the comments what you are expecting to learn this week.
