All forms of gender injustice and discrimination are connected – and are symptomatic of a larger systemic problem.

Earlier in this course, we defined patriarchy as a system based on gender stereotypes where men hold power and privilege. Patriarchy is a system that shapes our society and creates gendered power dynamics. All the experiences of gender injustice flow from these dynamics.

Activity

Choose one social justice issue that you care about and try to connect it to what is supporting it and what the root of the problem is.
