And for the post-experience, when the tourists go back home, they buy a lot. And for the cross-border, e-commerce become more important. Today, Chinese government already allowed some airport and seaport to have the duty free, door to door duty free, no need to carry, the tourists no need to carry the product by their own. Today, the cross-border e-commerce, i think they call Haitao. Haitao is individual Chinese citizen can buy the product. for example form Australia, like food sub enterer or the powdered milk, directly from Australia or cosmetics form Korea. The limit among of the money is the 20,000 RMB per year. And individual order not exceed than 2000 RMB, and no import tax, only 17% VAT.
It means lower can be declined the VAT 20%. This is very easier for the tourists to make order after they come back they can buy some more souvenir. No need to revisit again and again and carry back the great souvenirs.
For Chiang Mai, we are the food market, and we brand the cities by the fruit. Thai fruit is very popular in China, because it’s different fruit and the Chinese they prefer the tropical fruit like liulian, mango or pineapple mango string and other like very different kind of the dry fruit and also like banana. And then Thai government they have the policy e-commerce market. They change the tourist destination to be the fruit cities, to provide fresh and seasonal fruits for the visitors, are very successful in Chiang Mai. And the other city like Phuket, Chonburi and also dry fruit is also very popular.
And in the future, we can extend to the other cross-border e-commerce like herbs, like cosmetics or other that Thai traditional medicine, something like that. And in Chiang Mai because of the logistic development in China today very easy from the free zone of the cross border e-commerce port only triduum to which every home in China. And also in Chiang Mai we can do O2O from offline to online help the shop the restaurant to do the online visiting by the cross broader e-commerce. That can do better customer aftersell service. And also it’s the way to export the gift and souvenir. In Thailand the duty free and King Power is largest number two in Thailand.
Because of the tourism industry, tourism create more than 17% of our GDP of Thailand GDP. And the new cross-border e-commerce is the F2C, the factory to consumer is the kind of factory outlets plus duty free and also door to door delivery is quite very much easier for the Chinese tourists can make order at moment get the product to their home. And in Chiang Mai, fruit is a promotional product. Today when the Chiang Mai is the we called leisure destination or the weekend destination. Because of the local airline, the tourists can come to Chiang Mai in the weekend, and also very low cost destination.
Because Chiang Mai is an university city as well, university tours well and everything for the students and tourists can share and share the cost. And they make Chiang Mai very attractive. Chiang Mai we can extend from the fruit to like natural product to like some halal products, because of the tourist from the Asean even the Muslim from China, come from Yunnan, from Shanxi, from Ningxia, from Xinjiang, for example, and the souvenir gift I can range from by dried fruits, healthy rice, coffee bean, tea, Thai herb, honey products and so on. The Thailand can persuade the customer to buy the product.
And the product can send from factory in Thailand in everywhere in the world, in Australia ,in Korea are to the free sold and send to,deliver to the home of the consumers. And all the payment then by the fintech, by the financial technology, like Alipay,WeChat pay this can make the life of the tourists very easier.
Lastly, today even the technology make the possibility for the technology country. not only United States, Japan, Korea or Europe. but now China. China also have very lager productivity, because the implementation of the technology. In the future , when the productivity very high, those country like Japan, Norway they have something they discount about the universal wealth income.
