How does your corridor fit with other corridors?

Green corridors are both naturally existing and constructed, and provide the blueprint for planning, design and care for people.

Expanding our view

You have now shared a photo of a tree, and of the green corridor and its green and grey components. Now, we are going to take another step back and look at the broader landscape that connects to the corridor.

Your task

Try to find a location where you can see the broader landscape that your corridor sits within. This may be from a hill, or out of the window of a building.
Take a photo and return to Padlet. and upload your photo on the photo board.
In the comments below, describe the landscape.
  • What is immediately around the green corridor? Is it an urban, industrial, open space, or forested area?
  • What infrastructure can you see running through and around the green corridor?
  • Are there links with other green corridors?
  • Who and what can you see moving through the corridor, and how are they moving?

See this guide for more information and help with using Padlet if needed.
