LEE MARTIN: Welcome to the final week of Harnessing Cultural Diversity. You are now equipped with the MBI framework and the split framework. These provide solid foundations for leading culturally diverse teams. In our final week, we’ll explore some cutting-edge ideas that build on those foundations. And we’ll also hear insights from experts in cross-cultural management. Now we’ve talked in this course about harnessing cultural diversity among team members, but what about cultural diversity within the individuals in your team? We’ll discover why multicultural individuals are a great hidden asset in your team. Much of a leader’s good efforts in harnessing cultural diversity can come undone if the right team conditions are not in place.
