We are excited to meet you! I am Chiu, Ya-Wen, Director and Professor from Master Program in Global Health and Development, College of Public Health in Taipei Medical University.

With the increased life expectancy, living a healthy life becoming important. Smoking, drinking, poor diet, and lack of exercise are modifiable lifestyles that can lead to chronic illnesses if left without proper management. Health promotion provides individuals with the means to improve and manage their health. This course provides basic information on health promotion. Upon completion of the course, students will have a better understanding of the process and implementation of health promotion. We hope you enjoy this course!
