Intelligence can be divided into crystallized intelligence and fluid intelligence. Fluid intelligence is innate, while crystallized intelligence is the knowledge and abilities gained through education and life experience.

Therefore, by combining innate abilities with exercises that strengthen intelligence, the elderly can maintain their cognitive abilities at a good level.
