GOSH: Gloves off campaign

In 2019 Nicola Wilson, Helen Dunn, Amy Leonard undertook a successful “Gloves Off” campaign. In this interview Nicola Wilson will talk through the teams motivations, challenges and successes and top tips.

Nicola Wilson is Lead Practice Educator (Brain & Body, Bones and Mind) at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.

The glove aware campaign was directed towards patients, carers and families, but also we encouraged staff to have conversations directly with the patients and carers.

GOSHpods goes Green is a new series from GOSHpods, produced by the Learning Academy in collaboration with the GOSH sustainability team, focussing on the important issue of sustainability in healthcare.
