GASP

Interview with GASP co-founder

The Greener Healthcare and Sustainability Project (GHASP) was started in 2018 by two Anaesthetic Trainees as the Greener Anaesthesia and Sustainability Project (GASP).

Over the years the organisation has supported its members in various sustainability projects, through education, advocacy, quality improvement and consulting. They have now widened their scope of practice beyond Anaesthetics and welcome members from all aspects of healthcare.

‘GASP’ was set up by Dr Jonny Groome in 2018, whilst he was an anaesthetic trainee. He has since handed the reins to Dr Evie Rothwell, who is a Foundation doctor and Alex Olney, a Junior Doctor training to be a Paediatrician.

Next we will hear form the new directors of GHASP and the future plans for the organisation.
