Welcome to week two

In week one we looked at the problem of climate change on human and planetary health and the contribution that healthcare is making to the climate crisis.

Week two is called ‘Engage’:

This week you will:

• Explore what governments, hospital trust and health professionals are doing to mitigate climate change.
• Identify important contributors to medical waste in the waste and procurement sector
• Evaluate the patient voice and identify the end user stance on sustainable healthcare.
• Investigate failures in industrial environmental ventures, and surmise why practices such as ‘greenwashing’ still exist.
