Then this short course is for you! Blockchain technologies have the potential to transform the banking sector and society more broadly by providing trust, security and transparency in digital transactions, and you are about to find out how!

Careers in blockchain include blockchain developer, smart contract engineer, blockchain architect, blockchain consultant, blockchain analyst, blockchain project manager, blockchain researcher, and blockchain legal expert. This course will explain what these roles are. You will develop an awareness and understanding of what a career in blockchain technologies entails and what skills you will need to succeed.

How the course will work

• The course is divided into two weeks.
• Each week there will be two activities, with a range of different tasks for you to complete at your own pace.
• The course is not facilitated, but is designed to support peer learning through online discussions.
• There will be a range of quizzes, reading sections, videos, and chances for you to discuss questions with other learners; this can be a great way of getting different viewpoints and ideas, so do use these chances to network with your peers and share your ideas!
• Finally, you will take the assignment at the end to earn your certificate. The pass mark is 70% and you must also complete 90% of the course steps to get your certificate.
